Chess in Concert was in London when I was in London, but I couldn't get tickets because they were £60 (~$120). But I really wanted to because Josh Groban was playing, and we all know how much I love Josh. Two girls from my study abroad went to it though. So, three years later I'm at the library and come across the DVD. I thought, hey Josh Groban and some really obscure musical about Chess? Why not.
It's a really strange story, but Josh is (of course) fabulous, as is Idina Menzel and Adam Pascal. There are some really nice songs, with lyrics written by Tim Rice.
