I got to spend the afternoon making Christmas cookies with my dear friend Cecily! Unfortunately, my flour seems to have gone bad, kind of ruining the cookies. Fortunately, the fudge tastes just fine.

Day 356-Part in the Cubicle

There was hardly anyone at work today, so it was basically a party--when we weren't busily trying to get our work done.

Day 355-Magic Pill

Before I left for work this morning my dad handed me a decongestant. It worked wonders! I haven't felt this good in about 5 days.

Day 354-Still Sick

This is me. Even though I was feeling awful all day, I still stayed at work the entire day.

Day 353-Eye Doctor

Cha-ching! Those optometrists love to see me coming in their door! Once again, my eyesight has still not stabilized, meaning new contacts, which meant another exam at a different office than my regular optometrist. And someone will be getting some more money from me when I buy a new pair of glasses. Lucky them!

Today, we went to the UP house in Herriman!

How much do I love this kitchen? Tons! I love the blue appliances, but mostly I love this:

I also really love this laundry room. Actually, I loved most of the house! From the awesome storage space hidden behind bookshelves to the claw-foot tub in the master bath!

Day 350-Happy Birthday Jane!

Today was Jane Austen's birthday, as well as one of my coworker's, which meant that we went to lunch at Blue Lemon! I also saw 5 members of Vocal Point, including the one I used to work with back at school. Got a hug and caught up a little. I then had to go set up for the ward Christmas party.

The biggest thing was my battle against the Ricoh printer. He won the last battle, but I persevered and was victorious in the end! FOR NARNIA!!

Day 349-"When You're Still Waiting for the Snow to Fall . . ."

So, I decided to make my own snowflakes! I also made two "nerdflakes."

I am so talented that I can break two hairdryers in as many days.

Day 347-"Painting"

Our weekly devotional today was at the Church History Museum, so we went and then we got to look around the museum before it opened. One exhibit had this little computer where you could make a painting. The three of us interns all contributed to this painting: I did the mountains and the green deer (which is barely visible), Scott did the lovely "McDonald" sky, and Melissa did the shooting star and the pond. Then we went and played in the kids' section of the museum.

I started decorating for Christmas today while watching Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus and Jack Frost. Tree is up, but there are no decorations on it yet.
