Day 86-An Adventure in Reading

I never thought I would read this book, because, well, look at it! But then a friend of mine was reading it and she just gushed about the prose and the beauty of it all. And then I watched the musical in concert. And then I got tickets to see the musical. So I decided to buy the book. I started reading it this last week. I am now 250 pages into and I am liking it. But there is a reason that it is 1460 pages long--it takes 20 pages for a character to make a decision!

Day 85-On Set

So my friend the filmmaker (seen here in his schmancy director's cap)
Very kindly let me observe how a short film is made. I'm a backstage kind of person--I like to see what goes on to make something the way it is. It was fun and interesting to see. And a got to watch on this:
A monitor thing. Yeah.

Day 83-Gypped

I opened my Letter gummy snacks, and this was all that was in there. Only six, and they were all vowels! Not only were they all vowels, but they were all Es and Os. You can't create words with Es and Os! I tried and could only come up with EOEOEE!!! It doesn't work! Very disappointing.

Day 81-Multi-tasking

This is what I do. Watch TV while working on something worthwhile. So the worthwhile thing balances out the TV, right?

Day 78-Friends and Provo

I went up and spent the day in Provo with some friends.

One friend was able to put her whole foot (with her shoe) in a man's shoe size 11.
This was so weird. These are real people, in the window. As the display. It was weird.
Another friend all blinged up!

Day 77-Outside

I took a break and went outside. Got to breath fresh air (something very unusual for me).

Day 71-Dream Come True

Even though my daddy was sick, he made sure to get on the computer yesterday morning to get me a ticket. He got the last one for that day! This is a dream come true and a second chance at a regret. I have been wanting to see Les Mis for about 10 years, since the first time they came to Utah. Tickets sold out really fast then and we couldn't go. When I went to London, for some reason I never made and it has been something I regretted for 3 years. I know it sounds silly, but I really think that everything that culminated with my dad getting the last ticket was really a tender mercy. It's not everyday that you get a second chance at a regret.

Day 67-Stuck in a Time Warp

How else could I have ended up back in January when I thought I was in March?

Day 66-Bus Company

My mommy rode the bus with me today! (And I know that this picture makes me seem scandalous, but I'm not. Really!)

Day 64-Blast from the Past

Found this at the dollar store. In high school we got an extra dollar of lunch money every week for a special treat. This was one of my favorites and it was considered a good day if they were selling them at lunch!

Day 63-A Full Day

My day was full of meetings. Actually I only had 2 1/2 hours of the day not in meetings, and one of those was my lunch. I loved it!

Day 62-Oh Joshy ::sigh::

I got tickets to Josh Groban's "Straight to You" tour. So, Joshy, I will be seeing you on Aug. 13!

Day 61-Double Picture

Today was the first time I saw the sunrise since I started my job (I know, I know, considering how early I wake up it shouldn't be the first time, but it is). What a beautiful sunrise too!
I also saw the sunset today too. Not as brilliant as the sunrise, but beautiful in it's own way.

Day 60-No Packed Lunch

Once again I forgot to take a picture of what I did today, but I did do something different! The other interns and I went to Hagermann's for lunch today. This is the first day in almost two months I didn't pack a lunch. Hence, there is no lunch box on my lap.
