Day 142-When the Parents are Away . . .

Day 141-MIA!

One of my old college roommates who moved away to Nebraska to get married (I know, right?) had her BFA show tonight. I haven't seen her in about a year, so it was great to talk to her.

Old roomies: Maria, Me, Maddie. One year has made a lot of changes for us!

Day 140-Time Clock

I've never punched in and out like this before. It's kinda fun!

Day 138-New Job

Where I will be spending the next four months of the year, as a publishing intern.

Day 137-Interviews

My interview dress suit. Today I had two interviews and an editing test. AND I got offered the internship at Deseret Book!

Day 136-Sitting By the Phone

Let's be honest, most of the day I was sitting on my phone as I waited for an internship opportunity to call me about setting up an interview. Part way through the day I noticed that for some reason I hadn't been getting any bars for I don't know how long which sent me into a panic thinking I had missed the phone call. The panic lasted about 2 seconds and then my reasonable side kicked in and reminded me that if they had tried to call, they would call back again.
